So you're recently engaged & eager to get started with every element of your big day, but where do you start when it comes to wedding flowers? Here I've put together some of the most commonly asked questions.


When should I contact you about my wedding?

As soon as your date is set we can start to discuss your wedding flowers. If you want to be sure that I'm available on the date you want, the earlier the better. You can always secure your date & we can discuss the detail at a later date. I work on a first come, first served basis and bookings are only confirmed once a 25% non-refundable booking fee has been paid.

Will you work with us?

Yes! I pride myself on being an inclusive designer. I work with couples from all communities & welcome those planning a LGBTQ+ wedding. In my world, love is love!

How much will my flowers cost?

Every wedding is different & the costs involved are to. As a minimum I would set aside at least 10% of your overall budget for flowers if you're thinking of having any more than just bridal party flowers. I will always do my best to work with you whether I'm providing just flowers for you & your maids or a large scale installation. I offer two wedding services. My Bespoke service is for those looking for something a bit different or that have a budget of £1000+, if you are having an intimate wedding or are looking for a hands off approach then my Essential Elements wedding package starts from £200.

Why are wedding flowers so expensive?

A lot of time & care goes into your wedding flowers, with the process starting many weeks or months before your big day. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make sure I deliver flowers that not only meet, but surpass your expectations. I’ve written a bit more about this here.

What information do you need to provide me with a quote?

Wedding flowers are unique to every couple & therefore I will ask you a lot of questions to make sure we're both on the same page. The wedding enquiry form provides me with the basic information I need to get started but providing me with photos or a link to your Pinterest board will help me understand what you are looking for.

The less prescriptive you are about your flowers the better the end product will be. We're working with Mother Nature so it’s best to leave the final design detail to me once we've established your theme, colour palette & style. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I've completed the enquiry form - what next?

Once I've received your wedding enquiry form for my Bespoke services, I'll get in touch to arrange a consultation. This is usually face to face, but can also be over the phone/video call or by email - which ever you would prefer.

From this consultation I'll be able to provide you with an initial quote. Once you've paid the booking fee the date is secured. 

I will check in with you nearer your big day to see if there is anything you want to change about your flowers, if we haven't discussed this already.

The final invoice will be issued at least 6 weeks before your date. The booking fee comes off the balance owing & the final amount is due 30 days before your wedding.

Are flowers available all year round?

No. Most flowers are seasonal with different varieties being available at different times of the year. We will discuss any specific flower requests you may have at your consultation.
